The news on possible insolvency of Dubai Emirate in late
November shocked the world financial and stock markets.
Sudden declines were recorded in all leading stock platforms.
Some analysts even predicted probability of the second wave
of global financial and economic crisis, this time in Asia.

s statement on technical
default regarding its debt obligations that caused panic.
While the authorities of United Arab Emirates analyzed every
case regarding Dubai obligations via individual approach and
discussed and chose the cases that were worth state support,
we did not exclude that the financial sources of international
(and not only) financial institutions were directed toward US
real estate market. The emerged panic, possible mistrust, the
fear to lose financial means once again might impose the
investors to avoid developing markets and some risk actives.
The logical course of their investment means was directed to
American real estate market, where global crisis began, which
is the reason of all the present losses in all regions. It is the
sustainability of the American market that will determine the
regulation of the world economy, that is default in Dubai may
help the sustainability of the global economy.
Given its potential, Dubai will undoubtedly tackle the created situation.
By the way, the reconstruction program declared by
Dubai will not relate to the companies operating in free economic
zones. Their financial situation does not give reason for
concern.
The article presents the peculiarities of free economic zones of
Dubai.
